7821 Third Party Call Control Firmware Upgrade

Dear,

I have CP-7821-3PCC-K9 with sip78xx.10-4-1OD-164-3PCC firmware and CUCM 11.5.

I want to Upgrade 3PPC to Enterprise Firmware, that i can register it to CUCM.

the question that i have here is that:

1)Is the upgrade applicable or supported? if not please link the document that cisco tell that.

2)as I read online there are some ways to do that but when i follow the instruction i get 405 Method Not Allowed on 3PCC ip phone web address.(and don't let me to do anything else)

That option is no longer available, it was available when the 3PCC lines were introduced, but it has since been removed.

You cannot go from 3PCC to enterprise anymore, you will need to get yourself a device with enterprise FW is you want to register it to CUCM.

Conversion from Enterprise firmware to 3PCC/MPCC (or vice versa) is not allowed.
