using 7841 with expressway C&E, the user puts in domain, user/password and gets the message "Verify your internet connection".  Phone is getting IP address.  User is on a  9meg DSL connection.  what is the min bandwidth use MRA with 7841 phone? I see that for video 384k is needed but nothing about that just voice would need.

That doesn't mean check your BW, that means that either there is something blocking the connectivity that is required to EXP-E, or causing some issue with the connectivity.

Start by making sure all necessary ports for MRA are open, and if they are, you'll have to get logs from the phone and from EXP-E to analyze them and see who might be causing the issue.

He can connect via Jabber.

Doesn't MRA use the same ports as jabber?

That just means that the network connectivity from the subnet/vlan in which your PC is, has all the necessary ports open.

I'm guessing your phones sit on a different subnet/vlan, and that's the path you need to check to make sure it can register over MRA.

The phone and Jabber/PC are on the same subnet/VLAN.
Home user with single bad 9meg down ??? upload internet connection.

There are no guidelines around BW, that should be enough if Jabber can make audio/video calls, you'll have to drill down to a PRT and debugs to find out why you get the error, as that's just a generic error.
