Hi Cisco community

We've got the problem, that the cisco 7841 phone shuts down immediately after connecting the jabra headset with the computer over USB.
If we do not use the usb-connection between the jabra headset and the computer, the phone and headset are working perfectly.

Switch:    Cisco WE-C3560X-24P-E  15.0(2)SE8
Phone:    Cisco 7841     11.5.1-18                              (connected on port gi0/17)
Headset: Jabra 9450

Below you see the debug ilpower during connecting the headset with the computer:

We tried power inline consumption 15400 and  power inline static 30000 on the port, but that doesn't help:

Does anyone knows how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Jul  4 11:39:26: ILP Power Accounting RELEASE_PWR ( Gi0/17 ) Okay, pwr_used= 42092

I think this is the culprit.  The phone "jolts" the switch by asking for 42092w PoE.   I am not sure if this is a bug with the phone or the switch OS.

Hi Leo

Thanks for your fast response. Maybe its a bug, we did a workaround with local power adapters at the phones...
