I have a customer school district that implemented CUCM last summer with most of the teachers getting the 7841 phones. This is the first district that has used this phone in any large number.
Since last November time frame they have been telling me that they are seeing the 7841 phones suddenly stop connecting to the network. They still are powered up but it would take a hard power cycle of the phone to get it back.
Now they have 6 of these phones that are just hard dead. They are a little concerned in that they have never seen this type of failure with any of the other districts.
Can anyone comment on this? Will also be posting the same question over in the support community.
