Issue:
when there is a incoming call the 7861 phone will have the following display.
"Incoming calls on Lines"
7 incoming calls
answer, decline, ignore - tabs

At this point everyone has to press the ignore softkey to display the caller ID.

My question is, can this alert be disabled? I don't have 7 incoming calls, what I do have is one call coming in on 7 lines, and my line will always be one of them.

My setup is as follows.
Phone is configured with 7 DN's.
Each DN is in a line group, set for broadcast.
Primary line is set for ring, each additional line is set for flash.
The phones do not have a dedicated DID Line, only one DID for the site.
DN 26601
DN 26602
DN 26603
DN 26604
DN 26605
DN 26606
DN 26607

from a cucm's point of view it is "broadcasting" 1 incoming calls to a single phone that has all the members of the line group on it as an extension. so it forks 7 calls set up requests to 7 extension, becuase you configured borad cast on the Line group.
I suggest you change your hunting algorythm to top down.
cheers

broadcast is the only thing that works for this situation.
top down would never reach any phone after 4 before it times out to voicemail, it would be to long for a customer call to wait to get answered.
circular and longest idle have a similar issue.
you would think use prime line would tell the phone that ignore every other line except mine when it rings.
or a setting like Actionable Incoming Call Alert, that would suppress the notification that 7 incoming calls are coming in. and let the primary line display.
or a way to set a priority of the line, a filter or something.
looking for alternatives....
thanks
