I am trying to register a new 7921 phone... It has got an
IP Address..signal strength good.... I gave TFTP IP... it shows "configuring CM List" then suddenly the process stops - message is "Not in Service"... any help would be most welcome.... Ashok...

It could be network issue. Have you check the ip address config of the phone. Try to ping the phone ip from CUCM and your desktop/laptop.

Thanks a lot. Actually I fixed the issue by pointing it to a different TFTP server ( Sub )... Strange that when I point the TFTP to Pub, it never works even though TFTP service is enabled on both Pub-Sub ( 2 server cluster)....Logically should work with both... Any ideas ?

Correct, it should work with both servers i.e. Pub and Sub.
I expect the 7921 is registered with the Sub (and not the Pub).
Please check the database replication between Pub and Sub. This could explain your problem.
