7942 Phone not registering on SRST CME

Hi,

I have setup the following cluster:

CUCM 7.1.5

Cisco 3925 with (C3900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.2(3)T and uck9 technology for SRST

I have setup the SRST under CUCM to point to router aswell as added that SRST service under the device pool of the 7942 IP Phone.

When I turn off the CallManager services on both Pub and Sub, my 7942 tries to registers but is not getting anywhere.

Here is my CME config

Hi,

The IP configured in CME for telephony-service and TFTP isn't correct (10.Y.Y.1). Your router Gi0/1.900 is having IP 10.Y.Y.5.

Correct this and try.

hey guys i have a similar issue with following setup:

CUCM 8.6.2    

Cisco 2901, Version 15.2(1)T with  uck9 technology for CME-SRST.

I have setup the SRST under CUCM to point to router aswell as added that SRST service under the device pool of the 7942 IP Phone.

The Configuration was all correct in 2901 CME-SRST router as wee as CUCM.8.6. My IP Phone settings were also correct one.

But the problem was that, my 7942 series IP Phones only can't show required template on IP Phone screen in SRST Fallback mode. Only the SRST fallback message displays. My 7940 & 7962 series IP Phones were working fine.

The IP Phone was having IOS version SCCP42.9-2-1S, i have DOWNGRADE IT TO  8.3.3 version.

After which the phone reflects the template and the DN.
