7942G SIPv9.4 Connected Number Display

Hi,

Having a problem getting the Connected Number Display to update after a transfer, and was chasing more information about whether this is properly supported in v9.4 of the SIP firmware and how/what the phone does for these updates?

Using the phones with an Asterisk PBX and everything else works well, except for CND.

Any help is appreciated....

Fixed.

Seems that the 9.4(2) SIP firmware doesn't properly support whatever happens for the Connected Line Display to update (sip reinvites or sip updates etc).

Downgrading to 8.5(4) has solved this issue.

In the SEP.cnf.xml make sure

<remotePartyID>true</remotePartyID>

and in the Asterisk config, check you're sending RPID (default is PAI)

(FreePBX extension settings)
