Have issues in an office where most phones will reboot at the same time. I have looked at the affected phones error logs and am stumped by the java error.
ERR 09:00:00.003015 NTP: Wed Aug 15 09:00:00 2007
WRN 09:40:41.228020 JVM: Thread-3|cip.sccp.ce:? - Read exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection timed out: Connection timed out
Close(d) Connection ...
ERR 09:40:41.265024 JVM: 9:40:41a|java.net.SocketException: Connection timed out: Connection timed out
any ideas?
Thanks Again!!

Hi, you are running 8.3 that is very buggy. Suggest you downgrade to the latest 8.2 firmware.

I would love to but don't know how. Do you know how?

what is your CCM version? you should take a look on the phone load readme file on CCO for instructions on how to install it, if the file is already on your tftp server you just need to change the "device defaults" on CCMAdmin -- sytem -- device defaults and reset your phones, or if you want to try with a single phone just type the name of the load file on the device config page, (phone load field)

Downgraded to 8.2 and it did not correct the problem. Seeing this in the ios logs on the router...

Did you ever find out anything about this issue? I'm having a similar issue and would be interested in any known fixes

Been having the same problem on CM 4.3. After upgrading to the latest SR which obviously contains the latest devicepack, the problem has gone away.
