8832 Wireless Connectivity

I'm trying to get a 8832 to use wireless network. In CUCM, the device explicity has WiFi as "Enabled" but on the 8832, all the Wi-Fi client setup options are stubbornly greyed out. Even the old school "**#" method doesn't unlock the menus.

According to the docs at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/8832/english/adminguide/cs88_b_conference-8832-admin-guide-cucm/cs88_b_conference-8832-admin-guide-cucm_chapter_010.html#task_AEA8EAFD7F5F961C42C6D95D9244BA62 there's nothing else to do.

What am I missing?
