On a Cisco 8961 with a KEM, is there a way, from the phone, to query the underlying number on a KEM Button? For example, there is a one-touch speed dial button called ABC Company. Can a user, from a phone, ascertain the number that was programmed at the UCM for ABC Company? We want this feature, not trying to block it.
Thanks

Hi Gary,
There are a few possibilities:
1. The administrator could add the phone with the side car module to the user's controlled devices and they should be able to see the numbers associated with the labels through the ccmuser self care page.
2. The user could hit the speed dial, hang up right away and then check their outgoing call history for the number (not optimal).

Hi,
I think your ccm admin should add the phone number along with the label of the button, e.g. ABC - 3451

Agreed that this is the best solution, but if there is not enough room for the full company name and the number they would have to use the self care portal or dial the number to determine the destination.
