Hello all,
Currently running call manager 5.1 and users have to dial a 9 before a number to dial out. Is there any way to do a translation pattern where a caller can dial "911" and the call will route without dialing 9 then 911?
thanks.

Why dont you just make a new 911 route pattern?

That is what i was attempting to do, however users still have to dial '9' before dialing '911'. I dont know what im missing here.
TIA.

do you have centrex lines that require a 9 to go out? You can create a 911 translation pattern that translates to 9911.

hmm...did you check urgent priority on your 911 pattern so it does not wait the timeout?
