I have a bunch of phones that are stuck in "upgrading". I could fix them if I can access network settings and point them to the correct IPs but I cant access the network settings. Ive tried factory resetting them also. Is there a way to access settings or do I have to drag these phones back to the office to find the call manager?
** these are 7961 phones also

Hi.
You can download individual phone firmware and install a tftp/dhcp server on your pc (eg. tftpd32) to allow phones to load firmware through it.

What version of firmware is the phone upgrading from? If it is prior to 8.5(2) you will have to first upgrade to 8-5-3 and then proceed to 9.x
Also did you try the below reset option
1: Unplug the phone.
2: When the speaker light comes on hold down the # key.
3: Plug the cable in
4: When you see line lights begin to cycle, let go of the # key.
5: Once the cycle has completed once.
6: Type in: 3491672850*#
7: Make sure you type it right, if you mistype a single number, the phone will restart without eating the firmware.
8: The lights will flash from amber to red and then the phone will turn off.
DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PHONE NOW YOU WILL BRICK IT FOR REAL.
The screen will go black and the phone will seem like it’s off for around five minutes.
The phone will come back up and go through the firmware upgrade again.
After several restarts the phone should register again as per normal.
