Hi,
I have a CUCM 6. I will activate SNMP service, put snmp destination..etc and restart "SNMP Master Agent".
My Question:
- could enabling SNMP on all nodes affect the CUCM? CPU? anything that I'am missing? we have thousands of IP-Phones connected and crashing the CUCM would be a nightmare.
- Will the CUCM send me only failed services? how many traps will be generated?

Personally I dont like the MIB for CUCM, it is very limited. I prefer to run RTMT and create custom alerts with it.
It is easy to create your own alerts (traps) and have them email to a group of email addresses.

I want to use SNMP. Sorry but you didn't answer my questions.

Does anyone know if this is service affecting?
Just to confirm the SNMP Master agent needs to be restarted after making changes.
Will it cause any issues with phones rebooting?
Many thanks in advance
