Add TransfVM softly to Cisco 7940 SIP Configuration

I'm using a third party VOIP service. I'm trying to add a TransfVM softkey during a call. From what I've read it sounds like I need to create a template of some sort. Any help would be appreciated.

can you start by explaining what you try to achieve with such a transfVM button, can you give an example?

Sure. There are times when we get a call and just want to transfer it to
someone’s voicemail directly. I’m trying to make the process easy and not
require steps for someone to remember. Hope that helps.
