Adding subscriber to CUCM..Licensing question

I currently have a CUCM 6.1.2 with a pub and a sub.

I am adding a second sub and need to know what, if any, license I will need.

If I do need a license, does anyone have the part number?

that really depends on what license you have, go to the license report and check how many call processing license you have.

if already all in use then the answer is yes, you need another license. if there are still available licenses you can go ahead and install the sub.

Looking at the license view it appears that I do need a license:

CCM Node License FeatureLicense Server Units Authorized -2

Units Used - 2

Units Remaining -0

Any part number?

You will need, i.e.:

LIC-CM7.0-7825=

so, depending on the CM version and server type this part number needs to be adjusted.

Hi,

If your Pub is bot acting as a call processing agent, you can stop the CCM service on it and it ill free up one node license for you which you can then use for the 2nd sub...
