I am sending calls to a SIP endpoint that is, unfortunately, not able to send CUCM endpoints an alerting name. Is there a way to configure a route pattern that will send an alerting name to the Cisco Phone when it connected to the SIP endpoint via SIP trunk?

Hi, there
Please capture the CUCM trace for the SIP message while the SIP endpoint phone was ringing when you called the SIP endpoint from ip phone and check if the remote SIP proxy sends the name in PAI or RPI while the SIP endpoint phone is alerted.

Hi Randy,
I've already done a packet capture of the SIP traffic and the remote end point is not sending an alerting name. Is there any way for me to add those fields when the SIP number is dialed by the SCCP Cisco Phone?

Hi, there
I don't think there is a way for this if you only got SIP trunk directly to the provider, if you can put a CUBE inbetween, there will be something can be done on the CUBE to accomplish this request.
