Allow conference intiator to hang up and maintain conference

It is possible for someone to initiate an ad-hoc conference call with three parties and then hang up, allowing the other two parties to remain in conference?

Here is the scenario: A branch staff will take a call from a customer, the staff member would like to refer the caller to another internal employee and would like to make the introduction on the phone and then be able to hang up allowing the customer to talk to the second party.

I see this like a supervised transfer, but would also like the calling party to be on the call as well.

any suggestions are welcome.

A meetme conference yes, an adhoc conference, no. The latter is by definition a conference only when you have 3 or more parties involved, when you drop to the point only 2 remain, it's a point to point call and is established like that.

By default the parameter which controls that is set to never

Drop Ad Hoc Conference

Change it if you need to.

Sorry,

CUCM v7.1.5.33900-10

conferencing is software based on routers, mainly 2811 and 2911 routers
