Analog Conference Station on VG224 unable to hold and conference

Hello All,

My customer has 3 analog conference stations

ClearOne Max EX wired

Polycom Voicestation 300

Polycom Soundstation VTX 1000

These are connected to a VG224, added to the CUCM. for conferencing, Users should ideally place the first call on hold and then dial the 3rd number and conference. Users are unable to place the first call on hold and then dial a second number and then put the two dialled calls in conference.

Please provide some suggestions to troubleshoot this.

Abraham,

Your VG224 will need to be setup as a SCCP gateway to CUCM.  Once you done this, please be sure to have this command in the system. 

"stcapp call-control mode standard"

This will enable hookflash to work with conference phones.

In the VG224, this was the configuration

stcapp ccm-group 1

stcapp

stcapp feature access-code

I have added the command stcapp call-control mode standard under config t  but now when I do a show run I cannot see this command applied anywhere.

Am I missing something ?

Just means that it is enabled in the default router configuration and only doing a "no" will make it appear in the configuration. 

add "stcapp supplementary-services" command

I'm running IOS 15.1 and these could be some more helpful commands.

stcapp supplementary-services

port 2/0

  hold-resume

voice-port 2/0

timeouts initial 60

timeouts interdigit 60

timeouts call-disconnect 0

timeouts ringing infinity

timeouts power-denial 2000

caller-id enable

To add the command stcapp supplementary-services, I believe I have to get in to the ccm-group. But it is not allowing me to.

(config)#stcapp ccm-group 1

stcapp is running... unable to change ccm-group

Is there any other way to apply this command.

Anyone has any idea how to apply the command stcapp supplementary-service in VG224. For me it gives the error

(config)#stcapp ccm-group 1

stcapp is running... unable to change ccm-group

or If I try

(config)#stcapp supplementary-services

It is unrecognized..

Please help.

-vg08(config)#no stcapp

stcapp shutdown initiated... waiting for calls to clear.

stcapp shutdown complete.

vg08(config)#stcapp ccm-group 2

vg08(config)#stcapp ccm-group 1
