Analogue FXS lines ring indefinitely.

Hi there,

long time reader, first time poster for the Cisco community, and i'll admit my knowledge of voice is very limited, but i have come across a peculiar problem and am hoping for an easy answer.

I've looked across the forums, but can't find too much that is relevant. Any insights appreciated!

THE SETUP:
The setup is relatively simple, 3 analogue phones plugged into three ports on the same 2821 router with a 4-port FXS card.

The idea is to have a simple conference call setup from the outside of a premises to a reception area, for delivery drivers to call in and get access through the entry gate.

THE ISSUE:
When phone A goes off-hook, phone B rings indefinitely, even when phone B goes off-hook it keeps ringing. The ringing will only stop once phone a goes back on hook. Has anyone experienced this before and can point me in the right direction for how the phones need to be setup?

THE DETAILS:
Cisco 2821
(C2800NM-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 12.4(22)T

Are these phones hanging off of a patch panel ? When you say Phone B rings when Phone A is off-hook, how is the configuration on CUCM to achieve this ? Plar through CSS/Partition ?

Hi Nipun, thanks for your response. Yes they are connected via a patch panel. Apologies for the lack of voice knowledge again, but i can't see any configuration pertaining to these 3 analogue phones (under phones or partitions) on the CUCM.

Is it possible, given the three phones are all connected into the same device's analogue ports (setup as a simple intercom system), that no CUCM config is required?

some more relevant config:
