Arabic Language Pack for the IP Phones

Dear All,

I am running call manager 9.1.

All my ip phones are by default using english language.

Some of my users need to use arabic language on the ip phones.

i have 7911, 7941, 7965, 7970, 9971 ip phones in my network .

Kindly gudie me the procedure to perform this task.

for downloading Arabic Locale

for uploading locale on CUCM server: u need to do on all servers in all cluster and also restart the server.

Try doing it on one phone.

Hi Malik,

You need to install cm-locale-ar_AE-9.1.1.1000-1.cop.sgn.

POLI are required only when phone firmware upgrade are changed w/o doing CUCM upgrade.

Actually we did migration from mcs with cucm 6.1 to ucs with cucm 9.1 through DRS.

So in this case which file i have to use file starting with cm or po

I have restarted the tftp do i need to restart the whole server as well ?

its working fine now

so now i need to do the same steps for the other phone types

i tested with 7911

Did u restart the CUCM server or it worked by restarting tftp server ?

Try with other model as well.

It worked without restarting the cucm server i just restarted the tftp and it worked fine

i am now installing the lang pack for other phone types and will update you

For other fone types for example 7942, 7965 or 9971.

The same cop file which i used for 7911 will work for i need to download different file for different phone types
