We have an existing Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express 9.1 system installed (Cisco 2921 router) and I have a need to shift one of the analog extensions off our VG224 analog gateway to a separate ATA.
We have existing ATA186 units attached to this system that work fine, however as they are end-of-life and not available any more I followed the Cisco replacement model of ATA190.
However I can't get the ATA190 to register against the Call Manager Express, I've manually created an ephone extension with the MAC address of the ATA, and in the admin login of the ATA190 itself I've even manually entered the IP address of the CUCME server and it doesn't seem to help either.
Anyone know of any hacks to get this to register, or should I just return and buy a vanilla SIP ATA like the Linksys SPA112 ?
