Cisco PD Authentication error is displayed when trying to access Personal Address Book or FastDials from Services button. Anyone ever seen this?

Hi,
Have you checked that the services URL is not blank and that you have this type of URL:
http://servername-or-ipaddr:8080/ccmpd/login.do?name=#DEVICENAME#&service=f?d?
Specially if this was an upgrade from a 4.X version. Please check the bug below:
CSCso28287 Restore Fast Dials usage as a service on Linux, better than on Windows.
If this helps, please rate.
Regards,
Teresa.

Yes, I have that type as my service url. this is a new install of 7.02, specifically 7.0.2.2000-5
I copied the Service Paramenters, like UsrID, from my CM4 server. Maybe I dont need these anymore.

Yeah, Fast Dials and PAB changed, now they come embedded. If you have access to the bug toolkit you can check the bug notes:

Teresa.

I was reading some of the bug notes, I think the light bulb finally went on.
what I know of a CM4 FD and PAB accessed through the services, are now embedded as you said and are accessed through Personal Directories -directories- button, no longer -services- button
