Auto-registration

i have three problems:

1. When i do auto-registration using SIP or SCCP my phone register. When i use manually registration using SIP my phone won't register but they do when i use SCCP. Any idea why they won't with SIP ?

2. In my CallManager group i want to use manually registration when i uncheck auto-registration for both Pub and Sub only one shows as manually and the other as auto-registration. it seems like one has to be auto. I don't get it. in the Cisco manager group section the one shows as auto is listed as true the one set  manually is listed as false.

Can someone help with these? i am running CallManager 7.0.1.11000-2

Not sure about #1.  I suspect there are additional factors involved.

As far as #2, one call manager group will always be the auto-registration group.  If the servers in the group are not enabled for auto regirstration (the checkbox DISABLES when checked), phones still won't be able to auto register.
