Hello,
We have CUCM version 8.6, and I am beginner with CUCM, i want automatically forward external calls from one extension to another, is there any way to forward only the external calls and keep the internal calls to ring as normal.

Yes, this is possible. Navigate to DN page and you will see two options for call forward viz Internal and External.

It is bit self explanatory. You have both the choices viz set forward for internal and external calls. As per attached config, internal and external calls will forward to voicemail when busy, no reply or not registered.
