Quick question,

Recently we have upgraded from CUCM 8.0 to 8.6.  Are backups are completing successfully but I've noticed that there are half the number of backup files for 8.6 then there are for 8.0.  Is this normal?

I think there is no problem just verify if the system backup all these components:

Cisco  Unified Communications Manager database (CCMDB), includes Cisco Unified  Communications Manager/CDR Analysis and Reporting/Call Detail Records)

Platform

Music On Hold (MOH) Audio Files

BAT Bulk Provisioning Service (BPS)

CCM Preference Files (CCMPREFS)

TFTP Phone device files (TFTP)

SNMP Syslog Component (SYSLOGAGT SNMP)

SNMP CDP Subagent (CDPAGT SNMP)

Trace Collection Tool (TCT)

Cluster Manager (CLM)

Cisco Extended Functions (CEF)

Take a look on The DRS Admin Guide for these two versions they backup and restore the same components.
