I am wondering what Cisco certifications are necessary to do the installation and maintenance of the BE6K system without endangering the Smart Net and allowing me support from Tac?
TAC support is solely based on the SmarNet contract between the customer and Cisco (sometimes the terms used are UCSS / ESW as well) and it is not dependent on any particular individual holding a Cisco Career Certification or lack of there of.
There isn't a specific certification that focuses on a BE6K. You would need someone with a CCNP Voice or CCNP Collaboration, who has worked with a BE6K in the past or who has a good grasps of CUCM and CUC.
