Hi guys, can someone please provide me some idea regarding to the E1 link.
E1 link for voice VWIC2-2FMT-E1/T1 --> can I use the cat5 straight trough cable to connect router to TELCO DEMARC?
E1 G703 as 2MB data link --> should I use the crossover cable?
thanks in advance.

I think it depends on what interface you have on G703. From epxerience I think some of them come with co-ax 75 ohm interface and some traditional rj45.
If you have a co-ax interface and your provider only has rj45, then you are going to need a ballun converter as shown here

Otherwise if you have a rj45 interface then you should use cat5 cable

Roy,
Yes to the first question. Most people use Cat5 to connect to the Telco.
Your second question..Do you mean can you use crossover to connect e1-g703 to telco?
