Hi Community.
There is CUCM 10.5 on site. I'm trying to find out how to increase time for Hunt Group queueing auto answering. When the people are in the Hunt group queue and one line/phone becomes available the queueing call rings straight away, but i need to keep the person in queue for another 10-15 sec. and then go to available line. So it's sort of delay before call goes to available line.
I thought it would be in Service Parameter -> Clusterwide Parameters (Device - Phone) -> Auto Answer Timer (default was 1, i increased to 10, but looks no difference).
Appretiate if somebody can point me to the right direction..
Thanks.
P.S. i changed the timer but haven't restarted any services, do i need?

There is not a concept of "wrap up time" that I am aware of will call queuing within UCM.
The timer you are changing only applies if Auto Answer is enabled on the phone itself (i.e. when presented a call the phone immediately goes on speaker)
Maybe somebody else here is aware of a way but I cannot find one.

That's really sad, their 10 years old PBX could do that and now with brand new shinny Cisco they can't. I suppose there is no any workarounds?
Thanks.

Not that I can think of, you could try tricking the agent with a ring tone file that have 15 seconds of silence maybe but in reality the phone would still be ringing. Native call queuing is a nice new feature for Cisco but its not meant for a call center really, it lacks features a call center would need.

I don't see any workaound for your requirement except to use UCCX which can serve your requirement easily.

The auto answer timer service parameter is for calls direct to a phone not when they are being directed via a hunt pilot. When a member becomes available, CUCM will un-queue the caller and deliver the call immediately to the avaialble user. There is no way to configuare a "wrap up" timer in CUCM. You are trying to get features that you would need UCCX for.
