Hi all,
We are facing a strange issue in our IP telephony system. When placing a call, the call drops right after the called party answers it. 'debug ccsip messages' provided the attached log. The customers has been continuously reporting that they have been facing the issue for a long time. The problem is not dependant on the called number type (it occurs when dialing other cities, dialing GSM numbers, etc.) Do you have any ideas? Looking forward for your support. The location uses analog lines, not PRI.
Regards,
Fikri

Hi Fikri,
I looked at the debug output and I see the gateway sends a BYE to CUCM with normal call clearing (cause value 16):

++ Does this happen on every outbound call or is it intermittent?
++ Do you face any issues for incoming calls?
++ Is this a new setup or was this working fine before?
++ Can you please post the running config of this gateway?
Also, we need to see what's going on with the other call leg i.e. the one between the gateway and FXO. Kindly capture the following debugs for one outbound test call:
debug ccsip messages
debug voip ccapi inout
debug vpim signal
debug voip vtsp default
debug voip vtsp session
Once the call completes, please capture the following command as well:
Show voice trace

Hi Harmit,
Thank you for your quick support!
The problem does not happen on every outbound call,
There has been no report that it happens on incoming calls,
The setup is the same that we are using for numerous other locations (~250) which are working well.
The running-config is provided in the attachments.
I will provide the debugs that you requested as soon as possible, since the problem occurs intermittently, it will be difficult.
Regards,
Fikri

Hi Fikri,
Based on the info you provided, this sounds like a problem with certain FXO lines, maybe even one (due to its intermittent nature). The debugs would help verify the same. Also, I would suggest having the FXO lines tested by plugging them directly to an analog phone and confirm if you are able to get outbound calls to work on all lines.
HTH.
