Call forward of voicemail also

                   Hi when we do a call forward (CFwdAl) to another number how can we also allow the voicemail to be included in the call forward.  Currently if I transfer all my calls with CFwdAll and the person taking my calls is out for a moment the voicemail comes to my phone.

Hi Louise,

In the default Unity Connection configuration the CLID that is passed to Connection

with your phone on Call Forward will be your extension not the "forwarded to" extension

and this is why you see this behavior

You can have a look into this "System-wide" setting which is available in Unity Connection 7.x and later

which would change the behavior to make fowarded calls route to the "forwarded to" extension, and

they would receive the voicemail.

**Use Last (Rather than First) Redirecting Number for Routing Incoming Call**


You would need to think about what impact this might have on your overall setup, but it would allow

calls that route from your extension via forward to end up in the "forwarded" mailbox.

Thanks Robs. It sounds good but we don't have Unity.  We have Cisco Unified.  So where would I find this configuration.

I'm not sure what you mean by Cisco Unified......I think you

may be referring to Cisco Unified Communications Manager,

but that is the call control system not the voicemail system

When you listed 7.1.5.33900-10 as a version, it seems like

a Unity Connection version. When you go to configure mailboxes

what is the system??
