Call Manager upgrade from version 5.1 to 8.0/8.5 in MCS7825I2

Dear all,

I have a customer, where he has 270  soft-phones and 30 hard phones in India registering to a Call-Manager  installed in US.

Also he has 2 number of  MCS7825I2-K9-CMA2 (CUCM 5.1) and another 2 number of  MCS7825I2-K9-ECS1 (Unity) which are bought years back and not installed for some  reasons.

Now he wants to upgrade his CUCM 5.1 to the latest  version i.e. CUCM 8.0 or 8.5, and make all phones in India  to register to this CUCM.

MCS7825I2-K9-CMA2 is  under smartnet coverage, but he has no UCSS.

As per my understanding he should be able to upgrade  software version 5.1 to 8.0. Can you please  confirm?

What is the upgrade part-numbers that he should  buy?

Your suggestions will really  help.
