Call pickup group Audio notification not work with CUCM 12.5

Hi guys,

 

I am using CUCM 12.5 SU3 and I created a pickup group with visual notifiication works fine, but with Audio not wokring!

 

I followed exact steps in this link:

But I am reading this and I don't get it:

SIP Phones

  • The system does not support Call Pickup Notification on a few Cisco Unified IP Phones that run SIP.

  • Call Pickup Notification is only supported on licensed, third-party phones that run SIP.

What does it mean? is there any cisco phones doesn't support call pickup notification?

The SIP Phones that do not support audio notification are the really old ones. You don't mention which phones you are using, but SIP phones since the 79X2/79X5 and later all support audio notifications. (So not the 7941 or 7961, for instance) The second line about 3rd party phones is just Cisco saying that if a 3rd party phone is not licensed they won't guarantee that audio notification will work.

Have you looked the the Line Appearance settings on the DN on the phone to see if call pickup behavior is configured as non-default? It may be that the audio alert is disabled there.

The 7821 work with visual notification only audio notification not work, is there any matrix table for compatible model?

the model is 7821 cisco SIP phone, and the option I already change it to ring, beep then I reset the phone but not work also!

Does that model not support? If I have 88xx can work? Because I am trying with 7821 model
