Caller ID name and number display

Seems like Cisco is forcing the firmware for 88xx phones away from displaying the number the call is coming from.

The 12.5 version displayed the number while ringing and while connected

The 12.6 version only displays it will ringing, while connected the calling party name is only displayed.

The 12.7 version does not display the number at all, only calling part name display.  You must go into the call history after the call to find.

Can this be modified in a CM setting?

Looks like this is only an issue when the phone is in enhanced line mode.  In session mode the calling number is displayed on both ringing and connected.  I am unable to find any bugs relating to this.

I was told the incoming calling number display on ringing will be corrected with the next firmware release.  There is no intention to change the calling number display in the connected state.  BU says that change was made intentionally so users will know what line they are on.
