I am working on a system where they have 1 analog line plugged into their H323 gateway, we have set the caller-id enabled on the FXO port and when we do a "Debug VPM Signaling" we can see the caller id of the phone as it hits the voice gateway. However, all we see on the IP phones is Unknown Number. What could possibly be preventing the caller id information from getting to the phones? They are on Call Manager 7.1.5 still.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you added "cptone <as per countary>" command under fxo port configuration in gateway ?

Plus to Suresh , add "caller-id alerting line-reversal" under voice-port . Secondally share "show diag " under your VG router , i need to make sure that your fxo support Caller id , some old fxo modules are not support.
