We have hit a situation where a set of very important users  ( around - 5 ) are not having there caller ID displayed on internal calls.   ASCII box is filled up correctly and the other users have it running fine ?     What can be the things , i should check to troubl even further, is it something we have access to or is it a Telco thing like caller id for outside calls ?

Hi Abhishek,

The settings that effect the Name Display are on the DN configuration page

look for both places to change;

Under Directory number information (top of page)

Under Line x (bottom of page)

Cheers!

Hi Rob,

Yes , that part is something that has been double- checked and is surely never missed.

Is there something else , which we can look into , to see if thats is missing ?

Hi Abhishek,

Are these shared lines?? If so, have you checked all 4 settings on

all the shared line appearances? Having it set on one phone of a

shared line config but not another will impact the outcome

For calls that you make to the DN, these configs are used for CLID;

Under Directory number information (top of page)

When they call you, these configs are used for CLID;

Under Line x (bottom of page)

Cheers!

Have you checked there's not something in the middle like a TP or transformation rule (can't recall if your version has them) that is stripping the info??

Are you 100% sure the call does not go by any other element in CUCM and is a direct call??
