Hi
In one router we have 8 FXO ports connected to different numbers.
But in outgoing call we only want one caller ID number to be displayed on outside phone. and rest of the numbers should not be displayed.
I created Voice translation rule and calling profile and applied it in outgoing direction on each voice port except that one which number we need to be displayed, but still it keeps on givig different caller IDs depending on line which it chooses.
Besides this, we strictly want to hide 2 numbers out of 8 so I have given no caller-id enable command under those 2 vocie ports, after which we do not get those numbers in caller ID for outgoing call, but then how do we simply chnage evry caller id to one published number.
Thanks for your help
Regards
Vibha

Hello Vibha.
Not sure it is possible to change Caller ID in this case. Your ITSP assign number for each line (fxo port at your gw), even you change caller id line port is linked with the number on telco side.
Could you ask ITSP about possibility to change Caller ID from your side, will them accept custom numbers?

Please share the configuration of your outgoing dialpeers and voice ports.
Also, please run this command and share the output
test voice translation #rule-number# #number to be translated#
