Calling number problem when CM uses call forwarding feature.

Hello people.

I have a problem with a costumer.

They want every call from the network to PSTN have the same called number. So I have applied a mask in the calling options of the route patter to change the original calling number to the number what the client wants.

But now, when I activate a forwarding feature, every call from the pstn to the forwarding number, use that mask calling number and the costumer wants the calling in that case (with forwarding activated) would be the original number.

How can I configure the CM to fix that. I think I have to create a another router patter without mask, but, How can say to CM that patter have to use just to forwarding calls?

My version is the 8.6

There is a CSS for call forwarding, configure that as needed.

Sorry. But what you mean with forwarding part is not clear can give an example please !

Sorry Java I have tried create a another router patter with another particion associated in a especial forwarding CSS. But that doen't work. Because the service provide always change de calling, except I apply a transfromation petter to change de calling.

Example.

When I make a call from inside the company to outside throug the pstn, the calling number always is 91222222. This is a service provider configuration, because I don't have any translation patter to change the calling number.

Ok. Now. I am inside the company and I`ve activated de call forwarding to my mobile 66666666 and My friend call me from outside the company whit this number. 677777777.

I got the call but the calling is 91222222 and I would like to see 67777777

If I change the calling number in my system, The service provider keep my configuration, but if I dont change anything, the calling number always is 91222222.

I would to know how I can setting the system to the CM keep the calling number when it forward the call.

Hi,

From what you have described:-

The SP is always showing 912222222 as the cli (calling number) for your outgoing calls.

So if a phone is CFA to a moblie for example the the call iwill egress out to the SP again

you will see 09222222 as the CLI.

The SP is controlling your CL  ---I- You need to ask them to allow you to control the CLI.
