Hi All,
We have a issue in our customer.
This is the stage.
Cluster CUCM 8.0 --->intercluster TRunk --->Cluster CUCM 4.1---->Gateway H323--->PBX AVaya-->Phone
The problem is when they start the call from Ip Phone connected in CUCM 8.0 To a Phone connected in PBX.
The signaling is from CUCM8.0 To CUCM 4.1 and to Gateway.
The Calls is connected, but only audio in one way. They not heard audio in Phones connected in CUCM 8.0
The codec used is G711.
I made a test, registering the GAteway directly to CUCM 8.0 and the call is completed correctly.
I think exist a problem in the comunnication Intercluster.
When I connect a Sniffer in the Phone, I see the rtp audio but arrived in other port.
Please, your Help.
thanks
Guillermo Silva B.

Hi,
Can pings be made from the CUCM8 phones vlan to the Avaya phone vlan
or
If there is an E1/T1 from the gateway to Avaya then can the CUCM 8 phones ping the H323 gateway address ?
Regards
Alex

Yes,
I can made ping to H323 Gateway Addresses from Vlan Ip Phone.
I done a capture (Sniffer to port of phone) and I see the RTP trafic from the Gateway to phone, but the traffic appoint a other Port.
I think exist a problem in the signaling H323.

Guillermo

Hi,
The H323 set sounds OK
The RTP will be from the phone to the gateway endpoints.
Can you post the H323 gateway config

Hi,
The RTP packets will be to and from
!
interface Loopback1
description Interfaz de Administracion y Telefonia IP
ip address 10.2.14.5 255.255.255.255
h323-gateway voip interface
h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr 10.2.14.5
!
The CUCM 8 phones must have connectivity to and from this ip address 10.2.14.5
I notice that you are NOT advertising 10.2.14.5 in the EIGRP.
You could add this network by
!
router eigrp 102
network 10.2.14.5 0.0.0.0
!
Make sure that the router can ping the CUCM8 IP phones using address 10.2.14.5

Hi Alex,
I checked the network conectivity and it´s OK.
The ping to a from CUCM 8.0 Ip Phone with Gateway 10.2.14.5 it's Ok
I captured traffic (sniffer) in the port of the IP Phone CUCM 8.0, and I saw arrived the RTP packets, but I didn´t hear the audio.
I´ve analized the capture and I saw RTP packets towards the IP Phone, but the Port of destination is wrong.
I attached the capture.
IP CUCM 8.0 : 10.15.113.11
IP IP Phone : 10.15.113.107
IP GW : 10.2.14.5
IP CUCM 4.1 : 10.0.127.11 - 10.0.127.12
Thanks a lot

Hi,
This look to me like there is no IP route from the phone to the gateway.
The phones default gateway (router) is 10.15.113.1
Can you login to this router and see if it has an ip route to 10.2.14.5
Regards
Alex

Hi Alex,
There not is a problem with IP conectivity. The network is operating correctly. We have PING in Both side.
To and From IP Phone it's OK
To and from GW it's OK.
The capture show traffic from GW to IP Phone. This capture was done in the Port the IP Phone.
Remember the flow of signaling
IP Phone -- CUCM 8.0 ---Intercluster To CUCM 4.1 ---GW 10.2.14.5
