Calls no longer rolling to another DN when not answered.

Hello all,

I have a few phones which are no longer rolling to other DNs when the call goes unanswered. I've attached a screenshot of the config for the original DN. As you can see, the VM options are checked. The calls had been coming into the DN, then rolling when not answered, then coming back to the original DN voicemail if not answered by the DN they roll to. This is the desired call flow, and has suddenly stopped working. Now when a call to the original DN goes unanswered, the call is set to VM without rolling to the second DN.

One thing I have noticed is that each of the DNs having this issue are configured on more than one phone.

Anyone have some input on this?

Hi David,

In the config from your screenshot the VM checkbox is checked so it's going to go straight to VM on a RNA/Busy instead of 2715. If you want this to work as described you would have the DN in the screenshot RNA to 2715 and 2715 would have it's RNA go to voicemail. This would give you the desired behavior.

Cheers!

Thanks guys. Removing those checkboxes resolved the issue. I'm not certain why it had been working previously.

This could have not been working as you say, if you check the VM box, that has precedence over anything in the destination field.

The system is working as designed if you have both options with a value, VM takes precedence.
