Can't Dial from Corporate Directory

I just got CUCM 6.1 installed. I noticed that from the corporate directory from the phone, when I search for the users, I can't use the "Dial" key to initiate a call once the user is selected. The button is there and I can see it being selected when I press it but nothing happens. Anyone know why?

Is there a corresponding telephone number found? Ensure that telephone number field is filled out under the user configuration.
