-I did not yet able to establish a successful dial-up connection via the VG204.
-The VG is communicating with my call Manager 4.2(3)(IP-10.110.35.100) using H.323.
-Im running an uncompress codec g711alaw.
-Attach is the configuration for the VG.
-Need some assistance on how to get the Modem Passthrough to work. Thanks

Modem passthrough is pretty straightforward.
Both sides need the same configuration. I would start by doing these things:
-removing the 'fax protocol passthrough' configuration.
-remove the 'redundancy' keyword from the modem passthrough configuration
-configure the same on the other fax gateway (PSTN)

Hi Nick,
Thanks for the reply, i didnt have a clear idea on how the relay works.
-is the relay between the CM(Call Manager) and the VG204?
-or the relay is between my PSTN gateway CMM(Com Media Module).
-I have try to route the call to both my CM and CMM and did the config as per the previous post. But didnt able to success yet.
-Can i ask for an example config that i need to apply to make it works.
Thanks Nick

It depends on you have it configured. If you use the 'nse' keyword in the modem passthrough keyword it is between the two gateways. Otherwise the signaling goes through CUCM.
For H323:
voice service voip
modem passthrough nse codec g711ulaw
