I have CM5.1 version, Publisher is crashed and rebuilt publisher.

while restore from previous backup I got CCMDB error

rest of all restore was 100% success.

While rebuit CM PUB from scratch, DB secret password may not match with previously configured DB secret password.

Is that causing issue?

I have SUB is up and running, is it possible to restore original DB secret password from running SUB?

How to come out from this DB error while restore.

Pls. suggest.

The cluster security password does not need to match what you used when you installed the server again and what is in the restore .tar file.  What does need to match though is the hostname and IP address exactly as it is in the .tar file and the new rebuild.  Double check those.

Hi,

Thanks,

But why I am getting DB Error while restore?

None of the phones restores from the backup.

Hostname and IP are correct.

Here I have attached the restore error log and restore screen shot.

Pls. suggest.

What's the full version of 5.1.x.yyyy-zz you're running?  You could possibly be hitting: http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCsf28239.  Are the subscribers online while you're trying to do the restore?

CM version is 5.1.1-3000

Is it CM bug issue? Now how to restore backup without getting DB error?

Waiting for your response.
