CCM4.x and CP-7975G (licence model)

Hello,

we have CCM 4.x and CP-7960G phones are EoS. So we would like to buy new model CP-7975G.

I have heard we have to use an Add-on supporting 7975G on CCM 4.x.

I want to be sure about RTU/license we have to buy with the 7975G phone.

(in price list isnt price for CP-7975G-CH1, so it is littke bit confusing to me).

Can anybode help?

Hi,

It is a service release to CallManager 4.1 which fixes bugs and has new phone firmware. It is not a major or minor version update.

It would be recommended to start planning an upgrade to a newer version though. Software maintenance has finished for CM4.1 and support for it will end on May 31st next year - see End of Life notice below.

one question more,

sw version of CCM is 4.1(3)sr2 but 7975G phones are supported from version 4.1(3)sr5b.

Is there an add-on we can use for compatibility with our current version?

You need to have a valid software maintenance contract to login and obtain the software.
