Hi All,
I'm configuring CER 7.0, and I am wondering what the best practice is for ERL membership. switch port or IP subnet? it seems IP subnet is simpler that switch membership.
we have a campus with 7 different buildings with 4 remote sites.
thanks for any suggestion
Alex

Personally, I like subnet-based myself. I have used subnet-based to support a CER cluster that provided e911 services for approximately 11,000 phones across around a dozen building with anywhere between 4 and 10 floors. I didn't have any issues.
But that is just my experience with CER.
HTH.

Bill
