Certificate notification RTMT

Hi,

I have one question regarding RTMT.

In the regeneration article is written:

Certificates should be regenerated before they expire. When the certificates are about to expire you will receive warnings in RTMT (Syslog Viewer) and an email with notification will be sent if configured.

An example of a certificate expiration notification that details the "CUCM01.der" certificate will expire on "Mon May 19 14:46" on server CUCM02 on the trust store "tomcat-trust"is shown here:

I would like to monitor the certificates. I have configured the Alert Action and Email server. I need to know which Alert name is responsible for Certificates. Could you please assist me and provide me the information which services is responsible for certificates?

Thank you for your reply.

Hi Roger,

I found it. Its under RTMT SyslogSeverityMatchFound. If you configure that as a critical service and you configure there IT group with Email Adresses it will send you an email in case certificates are/ will not valid anymore.

Thank you for your email!

Vit

AFAIK for this you should define Certificate Monitoring in OS Administration web page in CUCM and any other UC systems you might have. Note that this is a per server setting, so you will need to connect to each individual server to set this.

The same would be the case with my suggested approach. When certificates are about to expire it will trigger email to be sent to set address list.
