Cheap mobile phones for wifi calling - secure them on WLAN

Hi

A client has asked for 600+ Cheap Mobile phones to be added to wireless so they can use Wifi Calling.

No model has been decided yet, looking for the best way to add these on the wireless.

Thinking iPSK and import the MAC to endpoint group.  This would then go to a foreign/anchor wlc on DMZ so can control it's connections via firewall

Has anyone got any other way they have done something similar?  There is a good chance there will be no management software MDM for these devices, so someone poor engineer will need to configure manually.

Currently on 2.2 Patch 17.
