Dear Sir,

I want to configure a caller ID feature of my Cisco Telephone.

I have Cisco 7945 and Cisco 9951 with camera.

I've already check our caller ID service in Telco and verified its active on my four lines and I do double check by putting the analog phone in each line and the number appears.

Here's my current configuration:

voice-port 0/0/1

cptone BR

connection plar opx 779

caller-id enable

caller-id alerting line-reversal

caller-id alerting dsp-pre-allocate

!

Please help. Thanks a lot

Hello Michael,

Let's try with the basics:

voice-port 0/0/1

no cptone BR

connection plar opx 779

caller-id enable

no caller-id alerting line-reversal

no caller-id alerting dsp-pre-allocate

caller-id alerting ring 4

Since you have a pretty new IOS 15.1(4)M3, you may want to try above commands. If CLID work, then you can reconfigure the CP Tone.

Michael,

You need to check when the caller Id appears when you plug the analogue phone in. Is it after the first ring, second ring etc..please refer to the thread below for resolution to a similar issue
