Cisco 6921 Cannot Provision

I have recently purchased 300 CP-6921 Phones

I have tried reconfiguring them to work with my SIP  server. I have created the necessary config files and placed them in my TFTP server directory but I get this error:

It seems to be security-related. I have soft and hard reset the phone but am unsure how to continue.

All help would be greatly appreciated.

ITL is the initial trust list and is part of the TVS (trust verification service). I take it you are trying to connect this to something other than Call Manager?

Have you done a factory data reset?

This is a post from that link and there are many others.

I would go with a later version. Based upon that check your SEPMAC.cnf.xml file <loadInformation>SIP69xx.9-4-1-3</loadInformation> worked well for me. Along with that file, I needed:
SIP69xx.9-4-1-3.loads
SIP69xx.9-4-1-3.zz.sgn
DSP69xx.12-4-122-02-121029.zz.sgn
BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz.sgn
SEPMAC.cnf.xml

For me, unlike other cisco phones, the macaddress within the "SEP....cnf.xml" file had to have capitalized alpha characters, so double check that, too.

If you don't see any traffic from that tcp dump, you'll have to check all of your files. I think XMLDefault.cnf.xml plays a key role here, but yours looks correct; problem is probably the load. Put it in your SEP<mac>.cnf.xml file as mentioned above. I'll put it here again for reference:

You have to do a wipe of the phone, too. Reboot, hold # and wait for the line keys to light up green. Then dial 123456798*0#. Once you dial 1 in that sequence the line keys will go from green to red. Once the whole sequence is successful and the format begun, the MWI light will turn red.

I have already reset the phone in the method you described I have put in the load but I get the provisioning error that I pasted in the original post.

 

 

The error messages about the TLV are insignificant for non-Cisco call managers. The most important logs to watch out for is whether or not the SEPmacaddress.cnf.xml file was downloaded and process correctly or not.
