I don't know who came up with this bright idea of having 'Service Interruption' message on 6921 phone while SRST mode!!! For a normal user, it means phone is NOT working!!! Does anyone knows work around with this issue? Can we display any other message on this model?

you can change it under call-manager-fallback (if using fallback) or under telephony-service (if using CME/SRST mode) by using command system message.

are you sure? I have been reading that you can't do anything with this specific model of the phone!!! The ability to add or edit the srst msg has been removed by design!!!
I am using callmanager 10.

Actually you can't, that's the message that phone model will display and won't take the system message config, no way around this.
